Customer Appreciation Day Highlights

Advanced Restoration Services held a Customer Appreciation Day on May 17, 2012 at our company headquarters in Bedford, Iowa. We’ve had a busy year and wanted to take time to thank our community.

The importance of community. As a local, family-owned business we realize the importance of our community. When the community thrives, we thrive. And when we thrive, we hope our community does, too.

A beautiful day. It was sunny with highs in the 70s and a light wind. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. We served up hot dogs and hamburgers to about 120 guests. Many enjoyed eating inside our Contents Cleaning and Restoration Division building. Guests included Bedford’s city road crew and a local police officer.

“Kid’s Only Drawing” – In addition to the drawings for adult door prizes, we had a “Kids Only” drawing. Everyone was excited about that. Adult prizes included a crock pot set and an ice cream maker. Winners of the “Kids Only” drawing won one of the two movies, Madagascar or How to Train Your Dragon. All attendees left with a bottle of spot remover.

Penny Stringham Spencer won the drawing for the Crock-Pot. She posted this message on our Facebook page, “Thank you so much for the great food today. I also want to thank you for the crock-pot! I have been wanting that same one for 6 months but have been waiting for it to go on sale. You guys are super and helped me to have such a great day!!” Congratulations, Penny.
